Learn to massage your baby with group classes at St Peter's Church, Wickham Road, Brockley, SE4 1LT also private 1:1 and private groups (from own home or venue) available.

The International Association of Infant Massage baby massage course is run over four weeks and lasts for about 75 minutes. The course is entirely baby led, so you do whatever it is you need to meet your baby’s needs, feed your baby, change them. If your child is sleeping there are spare dolls to practice on. We learn a different part of the body and we review the strokes.

The massage sequence includes the; legs, feet, stomach, chest, arms, hands, face and back. There is a special wind and colic routine and some simple gentle movements to help with baby’s co-ordination. Incorporated into the massage are some rhymes and songs. There are also some suggestions on how you can adapt the massage as your child grows. We go through relevant theory topics and there is time set aside for informal discussion. Classes are relaxed, fun and it’s a great way to meet other mums.
